It is ideally suited to those who like strong sensory input. They are made of powder-coated metal that is 'woven' to be stretchy and flexible with firm input to the fingers.
The Kaiko Finger Spikey is one of our most popular fidgets for those who need deep and focused pressure to assist with self-regulation. They are an ideal fidget for those who pick at their skin, fingernails, and clothing.

Some ways to use the spikey
• Roll up and down the finger. You can roll using the same hand or an alternate hand. This is great for focus.
• Place one finger at the base (middle finger often best) & squeeze/clench fist.
• Rub between two palms for a scratchy feel.
• Hold in one or two hands to fidget.
• Place on finger and twist around using thumb, applying varying degrees of pressure depending on preference. This technique has been beneficial for some in minimising self-harm. It can provide the 'hurt' without harming the skin.
• Place on middle of pointer finger and 'pick' at it from the side with thumb nail- great to replace picking.
Please note: that if you wear the spikey for any period, it is important to monitor the skin to ensure it does not compromise circulation.
The spikey fidget does not replace accessing professional help. It is a useful tool for the kit bag.
The finger spikey isn't designed to be twisted back and forth on itself. If twisted/rotated, it can undo at the join and generally cannot be reconnected.
This is not a product fault; rather, it is being used not as intended/within the
product's limitations.
